Axalta is searching for a Warehouse manager to join our team in Houston, TX!

In this role you will:  

·         Focus on productivity, quality and safety requirements in accordance with company needs and customer requirements.  

·         Oversee operational and personnel activities in the facility and ensure the safe, clean and efficient operation of the site.  

·         Teach, develop and coach team members regarding warehouse operations, including forklift driving certifications, equipment, processes, and technical knowledge of warehouse systems.  

·         Direct the shipping and receiving of the warehouse operations.  

·         Implement inventory control measures and cycle counting.  

·         Guarantee precision, general warehouse maintenance and productivity level.  

·         Evaluate daily shipment schedules while strategizing and prioritizing a daily work schedule to meet company and customer delivery requirements.  

·         Create and manage distribution budget, variable expenses, productivity and cost per unit load.  

·         Ensure efficient utilization of all equipment and the coordination of maintenance needs.  

·         Maintain and model the 5S Workplace Organization standard; ensure all safety procedures and policies are followed.
