QA Automation Engineer

This is a remote position.

• Develop, maintain, and execute manual and automated test cases for web applications.
• Validate functionality, usability, performance, and security across multiple browsers and devices.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Log, track, and verify defects using industry-standard tools.
• Participate in test planning, estimation, and reporting for releases and sprints.
• Ensure compliance with QA standards and best practices.
• Work with Azure DevOps Test Plans for test case management and execution.
• Support integration and regression testing for ServiceNow workflows and related modules.
• Perform API testing (REST, JSON) to validate backend services and integrations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and automation frameworks.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of QA experience focused on web applications.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and QA principles.
• Hands-on experience with test management tools (Azure DevOps preferred).
• Proven experience in API testing using tools like Postman, SoapUI, or similar.
• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and documentation abilities.
• Experience testing ServiceNow applications or ITSM workflows. (preferred)
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. (preferred)

• Should be willing to accept a long-term work-from-home arrangement.
• Should be amenable to a permanent night shift schedule.
