We have an excellent opportunity to join the Air & Space Defense Systems (ASDS) business area of the Strategic Sensors & Precision Strike (SSPS) Mission Area as a principal financial analyst supporting the THAAD LM Program.  ASDS designs, produces, and sustains radars including A/N TPY-2 and Sea Based X-Band Radar (SBX).  These are high visibility, critical programs for Raytheon and our customers.

The candidate will be responsible for managing the financial performance of the THAAD LM contract containing CPIF and FFP. This position requires interaction with Program Area Directors, Program Managers, and customer representatives from finance and contracts teams to ensure alignment regarding strategy, operating and financial objectives. The candidate’s responsibilities include the day-to-day execution of the program, managing all aspects of Earned Value and Estimate at Completion (EAC).

The selected candidate must be able to work under deadlines and constraints as well as have the ability to multitask across program requirements. This position requires the ability to provide top level program planning and control guidance as well as the ability to summarize, package, and present information to all levels of management.

What You Will Do

  • Establish and maintain the overall baseline that is compliant with the program instruction, internal EVM policy and 10255.

  • Prepare detailed cost CDRLs including Integrated Program Management Reports (IPMRs)

  • Help coordinate the development and implementation of Estimate at Complete (EACs) and Budget Change Requests (BCRs)

  • Provide thorough cost, schedule and variance at complete analysis

  • Prepare finance charts for Program Management Reviews, monthly operating reviews, financial overviews and other reporting activities as required.

  • Utilize and share knowledge of the RTN Earned Value Management system process 10255 policy within the program team.

  • Communicate effectively with all partners.

  • Support Ad Hoc Tasks & Analysis as required

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics or related topic

  • Typically requires 5+ years finance work experience; OR an Advanced degree and 3+ years prior relevant experience

  • Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS), Program Controls (Cost/Schedule), and/or Estimate at Completion (EAC) Process

  • U.S. Citizenship Status is Required as this position will require the ability to Access US Only Data Systems

Qualifications We Prefer

  • SAP APEX EV, Rplan, BW, PMX, and EDIT+ experience

  • Proficient with Microsoft suite of tools (EXCEL, Power Point, Word)

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and prioritize workload

  • Must be independent and self-motivated

  • Demonstrated ability to meet critical deadlines

  • Proactive with demonstrated ability to creatively problem solve

  • Working knowledge of Raytheon financial and accounting policies and procedures

  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast paced work environment

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Earned Value Certification

  • EVMS audit/surveillance experience
