About the role

Line of Business: RMC

This position will help with the processing of payables and support purchasing controls among other administrative duties. The position of Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for completing day-to-day task of matching, uploading invoices to shared services and coding invoices. Additionally monitor the AP phone calls, statements and other duties as require

What You'll Be Doing

  • Process and verify invoices for accuracy and appropriate approval.
  • Maintain accurate records and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Reconcile accounts payable transactions.
  • Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.
  • Assist with month-end closing and financial reporting.

What Are We Looking For

  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • 1 - 3 years prior accounts payable experience in a larger organization
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
