Job Description
Position Purpose
This position provides vision and leadership for information technology oversight and development. This includes planning, implementing, supervising and evaluating all academic and administrative technology and information services for Century College. Directing all strategic planning and operational planning and research for technology and information activities at Century College. Assisting faculty, administration and staff in the development of technology-based solutions to support a learning environment. Leading, supervising, and managing all information technology staff and prioritizing and managing the implementation and security of all technology and information services goals and projects of the college.
Position Responsibilities
Provide college-wide leadership and oversight of all campus computing and information services.
Oversee technology infrastructure including purchasing, telecommunication, distance learning and duplicating.
Salary Range:
$95,550 - $176,925 Annually
(DOQ – Salary Placement will be done at time of hire.)
*Initial salary placement for a new employee to the system could go up to $140,569.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or five years' experience in senior IT leadership roles/positions reporting directly to the President or Chief Executive Officer
Minimum of five years in a senior IT leadership role, reporting directly to the President or Chief Executive Officer.
Proven strategic planning expertise in leveraging technology to enhance academic instruction, student services, research initiatives, and guide institutional decision-making.
Preferred Qualification
Over five years of executive-level IT leadership experience, with direct reporting to the President or Chief Executive Officer.
Demonstrated leadership in higher education IT environments, including governance, compliance, and academic technology strategy.
Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology/Management, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline.
Expertise in technology leadership best practices, including budget management, strategic prioritization, and workforce development.
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders across all varieties of academic, administrative, and community settings.
Strong problem-solving acumen, with a track record of innovative and adaptive solutions to complex technology challenges.
