Our head office is located in Portugal in the heart of Lisbon (Avenida da Liberdade) and we work mainly for the European market.</p><h3>Job Description</h3><p>We are looking for Senior Interface Designer for a European Union Unit with a head office in Brussels, Belgium.</p><p>The job requires nearsite work, meaning the office should be accessible within 2 hours if necessary. While remote work is possible, a physical presence in the office for 1-2 days per week may be necessary.</p><h3>Qualifications</h3><p>• Knowledge of web technologies, frameworks, and standards such as HTML, XHTML, CSS and W3C, accessibility, SEO.<br/> • A plus: Knowledge of eUI framework.<br/> • Knowledge of user interface design applications such Figma,<br/> • Knowledge of wireframing and interactive prototyping design tools such as Balsamiq, InVision, UxPin, Framer.js or similar.<br/> • Knowledge of design and graphical tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar.<br/> • Knowledge in customisation of collaborative tools such as Atlassian’s Confluence or similar.<br/> • Knowledge of (web/visual) design, graphical and prototyping tools and software.Expertise<br/> • Good knowledge of web design and mobile applications.<br/> • Ability to empathise with users and other stakeholders.<br/> • Knowledge of UX design best practices, including user interface ergonomics, knowledge of responsive design, data protection and security principles.<br/> • Knowledge of user-centred design principles and methodologies, including development of usability test plans for all stages of a project life-cycle based on defined target audiences, personas and user stories.<br/> • Knowledge of user testing through all stages of a project, including different techniques (e.g. eye tracking, dynamic/static verification) and methods of testing (e.g. remote usability testing, A/B testing, hallway testing, post release testing).<br/> • Knowledge in cross-browser compatibility and testing.<br/> • Knowledge of website ergonomics, usability and accessibility,<br/> • Knowledge of prototyping, wireframing, interaction flows, information architecture and user testing.<br/> • Experience in agile development environments.<br/> • Understanding of security practices and protocols.<br/> • Good knowledge of applications design.<br/> • Ability to keep up to speed with fast-changing technologies used in visual design.<br/> • Strong communication skills in English.</p><h3>Additional Information</h3><p>If you are looking for a fast-paced multinational company and have a desire to be part of the exciting state-of-the-art projects across Europe, send us your application in English.</p><p>We’re looking forward to hearing from you!</p>
