SummaryThis candidate will report to our Director of Outlets and oversee and manage the day to day operations of the Food & Beverage outlets which include OCEAN2000 Restaurant, O2K Lounge, Room Service and Mini Bar.

The Food and Beverage Manager will:

• Ensure professional and courteous service to all guests in the outlets by table touching.
• Interview, hire, and train all new hires on company/hotel standards of service.
• Continuously mentor and develop team members.
• Act as liaison between front of the house and back of the house employees.
• Work on special projects as assigned incl. marketing outlets to local area and participating in off site events representing OCEAN2000 Restaurant.
• Completing and assisting with monthly inventories as well as payroll.

Requirements

The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities. Must also be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform these essential functions of the job.

• 4+ years F&B Management experience a must.
• Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English
• Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written
• Knowledge of table service standards
• Knowledge of appropriate table settings and service ware
• Ability to describe all menu items and methods of preparation
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Must be legally allowed to work in the United States
• Be available to work a flexible work schedule, to include nights, weekends and holidays
• Knowledge of computer accounting programs, math skills as well as budgetary analysis capabilities required
• Ability to supervise subordinate staff, including, but not limited to, assignment of duties, evaluating service and taking disciplinary action when necessary
• Ability to solve problems and make rational decisions
• Knowledge of hotel food and beverage operations.
• Knowledge of food and alcoholic beverages.
