In collaboration with the sensor manufacturing and Sensor Product Development teams, you will focus on the development of nominated technology processes for sensor assembly. You will have responsibility for process quality of nominated technologies and will be the first response in production, ensuring production support for operators and maintaining processes in two different cleanrooms. You will report to Senior Manager, Sensor Process Development. </span></p> <p><span>Your responsibilities include:</span></p> <ul> <li><span>Taking responsibility for the processes related to wire bonding, welding, lacquering, reflow, and other ovens to ensure efficient and high-quality production.</span></li> <li><span>Supporting cleanroom operators in daily work.</span></li> <li><span>Managing equipment investment projects.</span></li> <li><span>Developing methodology and improve processes and tools in own area to achieve set objectives and improve quality.</span></li> <li><span>Following up metrics and controls of manufacturing processes.</span></li> <li><span>Making sure that production has latest versions of recipes and instructions in use.</span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><span><b>What will you bring?</b></span></p> <ul> <li><span>B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in relevant Engineering field and minimum of 5 years work experience in relevant field. </span></li> <li><span>Knowledge of own responsibility process including wire bonding, welding, lacquering, reflow and other ovens.</span></li> <li><span>Understanding of silicon bulk-micromechanics or surface micromechanics and phenomena affecting joint strength.</span></li> <li><span>Analytical problem-solving and process development skills.</span></li> <li><span>Basics of design of experiments and statistical analysis (LEAN, Six Sigma, DoE), with strong statistical and data analysis skills. </span></li> <li><span>Strong sense of responsibility, eagerness to learn sensor assembly, and a continuous improvement mindset, with a focus on collaboration, supporting operators, and sharing information.</span></li> <li><span>Proficiency in English.</span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><span><b>For additional information</b> please contact Senior Manager, Sensor Process Development, Juulia Loisa, juulia.loisa@vaisala.com.
