Your Specific Responsibilities:

This position reports to the Operations bureau chief and assists with technology and operational projects, process improvement initiatives, legislative bill analysis and implementation tracking, executive briefings and special projects. The person is a member of the project team and serves as training coordinator and monthly newsletter coordinator for the bureau, as well as managing research and data analysis for operational initiatives. The successful candidate should demonstrate the ability to work across team and section boundaries to produce positive outputs and outcomes. It is essential for the person in this position to work independently, be able to build consensus, and be engaged in finding solutions that work for all.

 

Opportunities:

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel knowledge that includes using formulas and functions. Publisher a plus.

 

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Knows project management concepts and can guide scope, schedule and close-out efforts.

Understands the cycles of the Florida Legislature, from reviews of proposed bills to implementation of signed laws.

Able to write reports, create engaging presentations, and produce intraoffice communications materials. Ability to integrate data visualization a plus.

Able to perform data analysis, including identifying trends and key metrics to apply to management and operational assessments.
