Job Description

To support in the development, implementation, and management of the Franchise E strategies – governance and execution.

Job responsibilities:

  • The commercial strategy director reports directly to the Vice president of Franchise E and is a member of the franchise leadership team.
  • Develops Business plans that incorporate long and short-range strategic planning, works closely with the Finance Director and the rest of the leadership on these plans. Structures strategic planning sessions.
  • Coordinates content for leadership team governance and develops Staff agenda.
  • Coordinates internal communications and culture efforts with functional leadership and PA team – including Franchise E Townhalls and dynamic communication efforts.
  • Plays an essential role in the management of critical projects as defined by the business.
  • Supports VP in important interactions and alignment cross functionally to enhance efficiencies and agility in decision-making. This includes:
    • Collaborating on key co-commercialization projects and capability builds
    • Assist in VP preparation for multiple Leadership Alignment meetings, JCCs, JSCs, etc.
  • Plays leading role in emerging Franchise E portfolio management – field communication conduit and cadence, prioritization of BU1 assets and indications as examples.      

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required– advanced degree preferred – MBA/PharmD/MD.
  • 5 years plus pharma industry experience.
  • Proven strategic capabilities, organization, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a matrix organization.
