Your Role
The primary duty of the Professional Client Service Engineer is to ensure stability of clients as well as deploying standard apps to users. It’s also to ensure additional required software is available for relevant users.
By client devices we refer to: PCs, smartphones, tablets and printers. The Professional Client Service Engineer (PCSE) works as administrator in the management systems for these client devices, currently MS Configuration Manager and Intune, as well as Printer management systems.
The role of Professional Client Service Engineer will report to Global Client Services & CSD lead.
Responsibilities
Management and configuration of Client Management tools
Prepare application packages in different formats
Test application deployment on test devices
Maintain the Windows OS on the PCs, with patches and release upgrades
Configure the process to deploy new devices in Brenntag
Work together to define the policies which we set for the users and computers
Liaison with external service provider to assist in complex client management tasks
Collaboration with internal teams, project teams and external companies
Participate in projects on a regional or even global level
Act as L2/L3 support for all client related ServiceDesk and L2 support issues
Your Profile
Bachelor's degree or master’s degree in Computer Science
Min 5 years of professional experience in IT support and client support
Fulfil, resolve, trouble-shoot incidents and service requests following ITIL processes
Experience in delivering high level of customer focus and strong customer support
Experience in Windows 10/11 and Office 365 client software
Strong communication skill, in both written and verbal
Structured approach to technical issues
High customer and service focus
Strong team player
Self-starter, independent, proactive, and collaborative
Structured approach to technical problems
Travel expected and Teams’ collaboration wherever needed
