Global Internship Program:

Exciting opportunity to be part of the Labcorp 2025 Global Internship Program as a Intern- Metabolism Formulations Development in Madison, WI! 

As a Labcorp intern, you will have the opportunity to support meaningful assignments that compliment an education in Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, Finance, Marketing, Communications, Business and Sales - and are inspiring and valuable in our mission to improve health and improve lives across the globe. About the Metabolism Team:

The Metabolism group has a critical role within the drug development pipeline. Our research allows for the ability to better predict pharmacokinetic (PK) and drug-drug interactions (DDIs) with DMPK/ADME studies and computational modeling experimental compounds, prior to clinical trials, to move quickly from discovery to development.

Internship Assignment Summary:

• Utilize a chemistry background to perform formulation work that provides additional data needed to expand our capabilities and offering to clients.

• The project will be centered around research, to better understand the solubility of compounds with administration of the compound in the forefront.

• Perform formulations utilizing basic and advanced laboratory equipment.

• Scientifically interpret data sets and provide scientifically based recommendations toward successful product and formulation development

• Summarize data, write reports, and be able to present in front of other team members

Education/Qualifications/Skills: 

• Working towards or has completed at least a Bachelor’s in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biotechnology, or a Related Technical Field

• Has experience working in a laboratory; wet chemistry lab experience preferred

• Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders and internal/external colleagues

• Embraces diverse ways of thinking through various forms collaboration and partnership
