About the Team
Roku Ads Manager is Roku’s answer to the growing and diversified demand for CTV advertising. Our self-serve ad platform entered General Availability (GA) in September 2024 and has picked up major momentum. Our Ads Manager team is small, gritty, and focused on building the best streaming ad platform in the market. We move fast, pivot quickly, and work hard. We rally around decisions, challenge assumptions, and push the limits on what advertising can do for growth marketers, performance agencies, and any other business interested in making the big screen work for their brands’ objectives.
About the Role
Our Product Solutions Lead will work closely with the sales team to identify customer needs, demonstrate how all ad platform solutions work, and ensure that the platform’s technical capabilities align with client needs. This technically focused in-market role will combining strong ad tech expertise, communication skills, and problem-solving abilities to ensure our performance-focused clients get the most out of Roku Ads Manager. This role will live in both pre-sale and post-sale avenues, helping to close new business and optimize existing business. You’ll lead demos, own technical support (pixels, events API, 3P measurement, interactive ads, etc.), and create performance playbooks for customers. This role will also own technical objection handling, competitive analysis, all while ensuring market feedback is aggregated and digestible, driving our platform forward. You will focus on bridging the gap between intricate technical solutions and the practical needs of clients and in-market teams. You’ll demo our platform, provider strategic performance-led campaign recommendations, and ensure operational excellence for T1 advertisers.
Success in this position requires exceptional ad tech knowledge, communication skills, a passion for critical thinking, and a hunger to understand both backend operations and frontend execution of new features. You will be an individual contributor who will work cross-functionally to ensure the clients are maximizing their performance on our platform, ensuring now feature is out of reach.
For New York Only - The estimated annual salary for this position is between $133,000 - $165,000 annually. Compensation packages are based on factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, certifications, and specific geographical location. What you'll be doing:
- Sales Enablement & Training: Provide training and resources that help Sales better understand all aspects of the platform and how it benefits customers, serving as the internal bridge between the sales and product teams. You’ll ensure that both sides are aligned on customer requirements and the platform’s technical capabilities
- Technical Consultation: Act as a technical advisor for both customers and internal teams, offering guidance on integration strategies, platform functionalities, and optimal use of any/all features. You’ll be the expert in the “what” and “why” and “how-to” for all things performance
- Platform Demos: Lead platform demos for T1 clients, showcasing the value and capabilities of the Roku Ads Manager, tailored to meet specific clients’ needs
- Pre-Sale Strategy: Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer needs, provide solutions that align with customer goals, and prepare technical documentation to answer client questions regarding product features, architecture, and integrations
- Post-Sale Support: Ensure clients are successfully using the product and addressing any technical issues that arose, assisting in troubleshooting as required
- Market Feedback: Ensure customer feedback is collected, aggregated, and incorporated into product enhancements and future roadmaps
