Technical Project Leader

You will be a part of a team that works closely with our customer and other Serco teams to deliver quality support services. Most of the management team is onsite at the Colorado Springs office.

 

In this role, you will:

•  Provide direction on projects from inception through completion.
• Provide technical and managerial assistance on all aspects of project management to comply with the technical requirements of the contract for the customer.
• Manage and coordinate technical and administrative staff by assigning, scheduling, prioritizing, coordinating, and facilitating multiple tasks.
• Evaluate performance of subcontractors and staff in terms of actual and planned task schedules and resource requirements.
• Review work for quality assurance.
• Attend meetings and make presentations about project status and work commitments.
• Ensure training of all staff members and instruct them on customer’s methods, procedures, and standards
•  Evaluate, develop or implement procedures regarding project documentation and development.
• Troubleshoot technical problems and take corrective action. Could review employee schedules and timecards.
• Participates in long-range planning, analysis, and program design 
• Participate in the planning and design of new projects as requested.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will have:

• An active Secret clearance.
• A Bachelor’s degree.
• 8 years of related work experience
• The ability to travel up to 10%.
• US Citizenship
