The Honor Roll School, a prestigious Pre-K to 8th-grade private school located in the heart of Sugar Land, Texas, and the Riverstone Campus serving 12 months through kindergarten students, invites passionate and dedicated individuals to explore exciting career opportunities within our community. Who We're Looking For:
We are currently seeking a part-time Preschool Spanish Teacher to join our vibrant team. This role is ideal for an experienced educator who is passionate about early childhood education, enjoys collaborating across multiple classrooms, and is committed to providing the best care and instruction for young children. Duties & Responsibilities:
• Strong Spanish curriculum delivery, classroom management, and student engagement.
• Teach Spanish at both school locations.
• Lead the development and implementation of engaging Spanish lesson plans that meet the individual needs of each child while aligning with the school’s curriculum.
• Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment where all students can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and administrative staff to ensure smooth transitions between classrooms and to create a cohesive learning environment.
• Support staff, promoting professional growth and teamwork.
• Communicate regularly with families to provide updates on student progress and development.
• Actively engage in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
Qualifications:
• Preferred- Educational background with 12-semester units or 18-quarter early childhood education units covering areas such as child development, family and community, or program/curriculum development
• Spanish bilingualism required
• Resourceful and with Spanish lesson and curriculum knowledge for young children.
• Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with young children.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Prior teaching experience with young students is preferred.
• A team player who can collaborate with other educators to foster a supportive and enriching learning environment.
