The Fleet Parts Coordinator is responsible for keeping the parts room stocked and organized with commercial diesel truck and equipment parts and maintenance supplies. The shop mechanics rely heavily on this person to keep parts on hand, ordered, and delivered so the mechanics can keep our operations running with little down time.

 

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Shop for parts locally and online to include price checking

• Maintain cleanliness, organization and labels in parts area

• Shipping/receiving/stocking

• Make and maintain vendor relationships

• Allocate parts used to specific jobs/trucks

• Fulfill part order requests on a continual basis while managing priority of needs and accessibility

• Communicate regularly with mechanics and management to ensure all necessary parts are stocked

• Other responsibilities as assigned.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Education: High School Diploma 
Field of Study Preferred: Part Technician or Mechanical Trades. 
Required Work Experience: Knowledge of mechanical parts, Communication skills 
Required Computer and Software Skills:  Parts software (SAP knowledge a plus)
Travel Requirements: 

Additional Requirements: 

• Strong computer skills, to include parts software (SAP knowledge a plus)

• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and demands while meeting deadlines

• Knowledge of diesel truck parts, especially MACK trucks

• Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.

• Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Holcim approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Subject to applicable law, employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
