The Role at a Glance
We are excited to be hiring a Client Engagement Associate in our Retirement Plan Services Client Engagement team to work out of NC, SC or GA. This position is designed for individuals new to the financial services industry who want to develop the skills required to deliver education to workplace solutions clients. As a member of this development program, you will receive training and mentorship to learn how to successfully educate Lincoln plan participants on workplace benefits while providing a world class experience to our clients. Upon completion of the training program, this role will be expected to continue without supervision in their assigned territory resulting in increasing average deferral rates and asset gathering.
What you'll be doing
- Cultivates, manages, & maintains basic Retirement Consultant, Plan Sponsor and Participants client relationships within assigned territory.
- Learn Lincoln's products & services with Advisors, Registered Representatives, Brokers &/or Plan Sponsor/Participants.
- Builds & maintains effective relationships with assigned RC Regional Directors and Retirement Consultants to ensure a high level of satisfaction & increase revenues.
- Provides information, education, and training on RPS & GP products & services to plan participants.
- Shadows assigned Retirement Consultants, Registered Representatives, and RC Regional Directors on site visits to learn how to achieve sales targets.
- Develops & maintains collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders to achieve sales objectives.
- Maintains sales call data in appropriate systems &/or completing sales reports
What we’re looking for
Must-haves:
- 0 - 1+ Years experience in intermediary sales that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position
- 4 Year/Bachelor's degree
- Life & Health insurance licenses or required to complete within 30 days of hire date
- FINRA SIE preferred or required to complete within 60 days of hire date
- FINRA S6 and S63 or required to complete within 90 days of hire date
- Demonstrated solid relationship management skills with internal clients (e.g. management, peers and colleagues)
- Demonstrates excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and multi-task while maintaining strict attention to detail
- Must live in within the states of NC, SC or GA
Nice-to-haves:
- Retirement readiness experience
- Sales or relationship management experience
- Demonstrated leadership through campus and community involvement
Travel requirements:
- 25- 50%

The pay range for this position is $50,000 $60,000 with anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint
