We are currently searching for an exceptional Quality Assurance Receiving Inspector II to join our team in Corona, CA.

The Quality Assurance Receiving Inspector II will provide complete guitar inspection which also includes, but is not limited to, performing some troubleshooting, the generation of quality alerts, and checking for possible mechanical or cosmetic defects. Will also make minor repairs and fine tune guitars according to company specifications.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the visual, dimensional and or functional inspection of incoming material, which may include but is not limited to: metal, electronic, plastic and wooden components.
- Keep records of the inspections performed and the results obtained.
- Perform First Article inspections per specific instructions as required.
- Use the information collected to decide what parts require more inspection, less inspection or no inspection at all.
- Provide support in the improvement of inspection plans based on experience and the data collected.
- Work closely with warehouse personnel to expedite urgent inspections in order to prevent production shut downs.
- Provide timely reports to the quality, materials and production departments about major issues found during the inspection process.
- Participate in the MRB process as required.
- Welcoming of frequent change productively and performing other essential duties in and around the receiving inspection area as assigned.
Education & Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Can clearly and effectively communicate with team members/leadership in order to complete assigned tasks.
- Great organization skills and detail oriented.
- Ability to use measurement equipment such as calipers, micrometers, ring, pin and thread gages among others.
- Computer skills in the use of SAP, Back Stage. Experience in the use of Microsoft Windows is a plus.
- Ability to read drawings.
- Ability to follow directions, both verbally and written.
- Consistently conducts themselves in an ethical manner with integrity and is always respectful towards other team members.
- Patience and ability to seek out information prior to making good judgment decisions.
- Safety focused individual, always wears PPE, documents safety concerns asks for assistance from EH &S as needed.
