What you will do:
The associate will have daily contact with various operations groups within PGIM Quantitative Solutions (PQS), as well as the portfolio management team, client services and numerous other internal and external stakeholders. The associate will be responsible for working through exception reporting, processing corporate events, short-term daily deliverables and email requests. The PQS corporate actions and pricing team utilizes multiple vendor solutions and applications to complete daily tasks. Each set of tasks is completed by one of several associates. This role is within a group that is team oriented and the applicant will be expected to be able to work well within that dynamic.

What you can expect:
PRICING:
- Ensure data integrity by reviewing and analyzing daily prices for all active securities.
- Update pricing records in accounting system as needed.
- Submit all pricing support for management review.
- Monitor and track status of fair valued securities.
CLASS ACTIONS:
- Track incoming class actions and monitor status on the vendor platform .
- Verify that the eligible class action claims are filed on time by the vendor.
- Monthly Task: Complete monthly reconciliation against the vendor records to ensure all known class actions have been filed on time.
- Quarterly Task: Two filed cases in the past quarter are verified to ensure all eligible transactions are included. Reach out to the vendor to provide the filing information.
- Respond to inquiries on how to post class action proceed.
- Monitor class action administration communication for any queries related to past filed class actions.
CORPORATE ACTIONS
- Review corporate action reports for required processing.
- Monitor corporate action responses and notices on internal applications.
- Process ad hoc event updates.
- Communicate corporate events to portfolio management and other interested parties.
PROXIES:
- Coordinate responses for all case-by-case proxy ballots.
- Review, analyze and act on the daily exception reports from the proxy vendor.
What you will bring:
- BA/BS degree, preferably in Finance/Economics/Business or related discipline.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, particularly on macros and pivot tables is a plus.
- Ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Highly organized and detail oriented.
- Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills; able to effectively communicate with others at various levels, including senior executives; exhibit professionalism and leadership qualities when dealing with problems and projects.
- Must be able to work early or late schedule; flexible to work additional hours during peak periods.
What will set you apart?
- One or more years of prior experience with basic understanding of the Investment Management business.
- Knowledge of how to use a Bloomberg terminal for securities pricing information.
- Familiarity with Equity and Fixed Income pricing.
- Able to work in a team environment while taking individual responsibility for the quality and accuracy of his/her work.
- Excellent time management skills; work efficiently under the pressure of deadlines.
