Associate Manager, Service Inventory (Onsite)

What you will do
Lead the development and implementation of strategies and goals for material movement and inventory accuracy in support of overall divisional business objectives.
Anticipate line down and component shortages and partner with Field Operations, Purchasing, and Demand Planning leaders to avoid increased customer downtime
Plans, organizes, and sets goals for the inventory control team to best utilize personnel to achieve long and short-term goals
Influence and partner across Service Depot, Kenco, Field Service and Business Unit leadership to create standards around ordering practices, and trunk stock, component asset management
Manage the relationship and performance of Kenco’s on time shipments, receipts and expenses and monthly billings.
Drive a culture of continuous improvement through the support of business and process improvements including but not limited to 6S, lean manufacturing initiatives, etc.
Evaluate employee performance through various means, such as talent reviews and common annual reviews, and enforcing company policies through appropriate disciplinary measures. Work collaboratively to develop and drive accountability and engagement within the Inventory Team.
What you need
Required:
Bachelor’s degree Supply Chain, Manufacturing or Engineering or a related field
6 years of experience in Supply Chain, Materials, or Operations including 2 years of experience leading teams
Preferred:
Familiarity with SAP and ERP systems (AS400, Oracle, SAP, etc.)
Experience with Lean principles and process improvement
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Strong communication skills with the ability to present confidently to large groups
