FMM is seeking a motivated professional to fill our General Laborer position. FMM is a maintenance and construction company servicing both residential and commercial clients nationwide. 

Job Summary: The Laborer will perform physical tasks to support construction projects. 

Essential Job Duties: (Included but not limited to) 

• Provide support to Electricians, Project Managers, Site Supervisors, etc. 
• Load, unload, and move materials and equipment 
• May operate equipment such as forklifts, trucks, hand tools, etc. 
• Maintaining a safe and organized workspace by removing debris 
• Following project plans and supervisor directions 
• Adhere to safety regulations 
• Performing physical tasks as instructed 

Required Skills, Abilities, Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent 
• At least 1 year of experience working on a construction site 
• Must have a general understanding of construction industry knowledge 
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment 
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required 
• Effective communication skills to follow instructions, coordinate with team members, and report issues 

Physical Requirements: 

• Must be able to pass a Fit for Duty screening 
• Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol screening 
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds 
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time 
• Must be able to reach, bend, and stretch 
• May be exposed to loud noises, dust, and fumes
