Maintenance Technician

Essential Functions

• Perform general maintenance duties.
• Handle all equipment in a safe manner to prevent accidents and demonstrate good working knowledge of tools and their safe use.
• Follow preventive maintenance schedule / instruction and complete reports, as requested.  
• May also be required to: inspect and repair plumbing and irrigation systems, maintain small water features such as fish ponds, repair light fixtures, help maintain swimming pool and perform general sanitation duties.
• Perform other job duties as required.
• Maintain grounds through mowing, weed eating, landscaping, etc.

 

Requirements

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience in grounds keeping and/or maintenance preferred
• Preferred knowledge of standard practices, procedures, tools, knowledge of maintenance equipment and the ability to operate machinery and tools.
• Valid Driver's License required
• First Aid & CPR Required, training will be provided.
