Job Description

AECOM is seeking to hire a Senior Transit Planner to support our exciting project in Dallas-Fort Worth, TX.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Serves as a technical specialist for the region in the application of transportation planning
• Has full technical responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing and coordinating complex assignments
• Ability to manage tasks and/or projects
• Local client relationships and understanding of local markets
• Performing/overseeing technical studies and report preparation
• Facilitating public and agency outreach
• Working with an interdisciplinary team of technical specialists and managing their project-delivery efforts.
• Assisting with proposals and business development
• Provide oversight and guidance to junior staff

Qualifications

 MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• BA/BS + 8 Years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

 PREFERRED QUALIFICATION:

• Masters preferred in Urban Planning, Geography, or related fields
• Demonstrated technical writing and communication skills
• Knowledge and experience with transportation projects in Texas
• Experience in project management
• Technical background and expertise in transit and/or transportation planning
• Experience in transit network and route design
• Experience with State and local transportation agencies, and their standards, policies and practices are preferred
• Local client relationships

• Offered rate of compensation (Texas locations only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $93,000 - $150,000
