SUMMARY
iFIT’s vision is to create the world's most holistic health and fitness platform, integrating all elements of health - physical fitness, mental health, nutrition and active recovery - into a seamless interactive experience. We develop proprietary software that learns and adjusts to the habits of each person as it delivers immersive content that guides them on their individual fitness journey.
We are currently seeking an ambitious pace-setter to join our team as a Senior UX Researcher in Logan or Utah or remotely.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and Execute Research Studies:
- Design, plan, and execute a wide range of UX research studies (e.g., usability testing,
interviews, surveys, field studies, diary studies, ethnographic research, card sorting, tree
testing, A/B testing analysis). - Select and apply appropriate research methodologies to address specific product and
business questions. - Manage end-to-end research projects, including recruitment, scheduling, moderation,
data analysis, and reporting.
Synthesize and Analyze Data:
- Collect, analyze, and synthesize qualitative and quantitative data from various sources to
identify user needs, behaviors, pain points, and motivations. - Identify patterns, themes, and actionable insights that drive product strategy and design
decisions. - Translate complex research findings into clear, concise, and compelling narratives.
Communicate and Present Findings:
- Effectively communicate research findings and recommendations to diverse audiences, including product managers, designers, engineers, stakeholders, and leadership.
- Create compelling presentations, reports, and artifacts (e.g., user personas, journey maps, experience flows) that illustrate research insights.
- Facilitate workshops and collaborative sessions to disseminate research findings and foster a user-centered mindset.
Strategic Impact and Collaboration:
- Partner closely with product managers, designers, engineers, and other cross-functional
teams to define research objectives, influence product roadmaps, and drive usercentered design solutions. - Proactively identify strategic research opportunities that can inform long-term product vision and innovation.
- Champion user experience within the organization, advocating for the user at all stages of the product development lifecycle.
Mentorship and Best Practices:
- Mentor junior UX researchers and contribute to the growth and development of the research team.
- Promote and evangelize best practices in UX research methodologies, ethics, and data privacy.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of research processes, tools, and frameworks within the organization.
Participant Recruitment and Management:
- Develop robust recruitment strategies and screeners to ensure the participation of relevant and diverse user segments.
- Manage participant incentives and maintain ethical research practices related to data privacy and consent.
Tool Proficiency:
- Proficiency with various research tools (e.g., user testing platforms, survey software, qualitative analysis tools, collaboration tools).
- Familiarity with analytics platforms and A/B testing frameworks to integrate quantitative data.
- Education and Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a similar design field
- 8+ years of experience working with cross-functional teams to ship products and experiences that users love and derive value from
- Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
