The Content & Data Analyst is an integral part of Capital Group’s content team. This role involves supporting the creation of innovative and tailored investment content for an audience of financial advisors and institutional clients. Responsibilities include researching and providing content for key programs such as insight articles, white papers, presentations and others various sales literature. A significant portion of the work involves creating charts and other data visualizations. Additionally, the analyst collaborates with the creative team to brainstorm ideas for thought leadership-driven marketing campaigns, webinars, and other publications as part of the ongoing content publishing program.
Role Description: Primary responsibilities/essential functions:
Independently handles standardized and recurring content assignments, under direct supervision of more senior team members on complex projects, analyses, and tasks aimed at publishing outward-facing content.
Supports the writers by conducting research to develop investment insights content for various audiences.
Partners with writers to identify research needs, execute research, and present findings to writers and other creative groups. This role not only provides support but also fosters story and content ideas through trusted recommendations.
Proactively identifies and explores additional research gaps or emerging trends.
Conducts research on statistical, economic, product, asset class, anecdotal, and other relevant information to support creative and content development, utilizing a range of internal and external sources and leveraging existing research.
Summarizes and presents research findings, synthesizing input from sources and delivering findings to writers in an appropriate format.
Provides data to designers for the creation of charts and graphs and consults with them through to final publication, ensuring the design team creates award-winning charts.
