The Accounting Intern in the finance and accounting department is tasked with, assisting the team in various aspects of daily and weekly transactional and reporting tasks, month-end close activities such as account and bank reconciliations, month-end accruals and related journal entries, preparation of monthly financial book pages and related analyses, as well as various ad hoc tasks assigned based on the needs and requirements of the department.

Pay Range: $20.00 /hour

Hours: 8:00am-5:00pm

Schedule: Monday-Friday

Location: Fresno, CA

Core Responsibilities:

•   Support the mission, values and vision of the company.
•   Preparation of month-end account and/or bank reconciliations.
•   Preparation of month-end accrual/receivable journal entries and related analyses.
•   Preparation of various month-end finance book pages and related analyses.
•   Assistance with daily/periodic reporting and communication tasks.

Requirements

  

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

•  Highly skilled in Excel and Word.
•  Excellent organizational, planning and overall time management skills.
•  Effective communication skills.
•  Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with others including employees and, as applicable, external parties for which you may interact.
•  High degree of professionalism in your interactions, communications, etc. with others internal and externally as you represent the Company.
•  Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Education and/or Experience:

• Actively attending a university towards their undergraduate degree in Accounting/Finance from an accredited university or college.
