Job Description
Reporting to the Senior Director, People Operations, the HR Business Partner delivers best practices and business focused solutions for people-related initiatives across multiple teams within the organization. The goal of the HR Business Partner is to support high performing teams by identifying opportunities to improve communication, leadership, collaboration, and alignment. The incumbent will be expected to lead change management efforts, organizational redesigns, succession planning and develop processes that enable business priorities and foster the employee experience. We are looking for someone who has the ability to diagnose issues and influence long term solutions and outcomes.
Primary Job Duties:
- Enable and reinforce a culture of performance on each team that ties to overall financial performance of the business
- Craft and revise role profiles to meet the needs of the business and workforce plan
- Collaborate with leaders and managers to drive a talent strategy focused on engagement and retention of top talent Coach and deliver feedback to managers and leaders on building effective working relationships, leadership style and effectiveness
- Leverage data to identify trends related to talent in the business and coupled with a deep understanding of business needs for their portfolio; develops and presents solutions to leaders to help drive results in the organization Partner closely with managers and internal learning and development resources to identify opportunities to advance team performance through training
- Partner with Talent Acquisition team on compensation strategies for teams and identify areas where compensation adjustments are necessary or lag behind the market
- Coordinate efforts with the HR and Employee Relations team to ensure effective and compliant performance management processes are followed by managers and leaders
- Work with leaders to develop staffing plans and assess talent acquisition strategy and needs that get the business leverage
- Evaluate onboarding efficacy in conjunction with managers appropriate internal team members
- Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the People Operations team to develop solutions, programs and policies that increase engagement and retention
- Support the development and implementation of training initiatives
- Provide compensation support including salary planning, approval of salary actions, promotions and job re-leveling.
- Work with leaders to incorporate Diversity and Inclusion programming into their teams
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, advanced degree a plus
- HR Certification - PHR, SHRM-CP strongly preferred
- At least 4 years of experience in an HR Business Partner role
- Experience with compliance, recruiting, learning and talent development trends, leadership development, organizational design, change management, performance management, and employee relations,
- Strong financial acumen and keen desire to understand the inner-workings of a business
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and networking skills are essential.
- Must comply with HIPAA rules and regulations
