The Technical Director, Industrialization ensures the safety, quality and optimal efficiency of all products and processes to be commercialized in St. Louis (Liquids and Vanilla Extracts) and Liquid Compounding at all relevant sites in North America.

Your key responsibilities

• Ensure effective communication of Manufacturing instructions to all levels of production (Operator, Lead, Supervisory and Manager) at St. Louis, MO and Princeton, NJ
• Work on production floor with operators to ensure understanding of all tasks related to compounding and production of vanilla extracts and train operators to exceed proficiency levels
• Support and advise St. Louis Operations, Quality, SHE and engineering senior management to improve communication and reduce MQI and safety incidents at the site
• Learn the New Product Introduction processes related to MDM, Sample, Scale-up for Liquids and other processes as required
• Develop skills to place and/or transfer products between sites to ensure optimal efficiency and service levels at the NAM compounding sites
• Standardize best practices, optimize production processes across technologies, and become familiar with all aspects of Industrialization to backup or succeed Directors in NAM

You bring

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Plant Management, Product development, Quality and / or R&D (preferably in multiple areas)
• Ability to interact with operators, leads, supervisory and senior management on the production floor is essential for success in the role                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      
• Experience in leading special projects and initiatives in senior level functional areas (planning, safety, quality) as required
• Excellent communication skills to interact between Quality, Safety, Operations, Planning, NPI within the site and across the region                                                                                                          
• Ability to collaborate with the NPI and Regional Directors for Industrialization
• Bachelor’s degree in Technical or Business
