Job Description

As a Senior ServiceNow Developer at BGSF, you will serve as a technical authority and lead for our ServiceNow practice. You will move beyond routine development to design, architect, and implement sophisticated, scalable, and robust ServiceNow solutions that solve complex business problems.

You will collaborate directly with stakeholders, project managers, and clients to lead discovery sessions, challenge assumptions, and translate complex business requirements into elegant technical designs. This role requires a blend of deep technical expertise, platform-wide strategic thinking, and strong consultative skills to guide both internal teams and external clients to successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Architecture & Strategy

• Lead solution design:  Architect and design comprehensive solutions across the ServiceNow platform, ensuring they are scalable, sustainable, and aligned with the Common Service Data Model (CSDM).

• Drive best practices:  Define and enforce platform governance, coding standards, and development best practices to maintain platform health and integrity.

• Technical Road mapping:  Advise clients and internal teams on platform roadmaps, new features, and upgrade strategies, providing expert recommendations.

• Mentorship:  Act as a technical mentor and escalation point for junior and mid-level developers, conducting code reviews and fostering a culture of technical excellence.

Advanced Development & Configuration

• Complex Scripting:  Develop complex server-side and client-side scripts (Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Actions, Client Scripts) to meet custom requirements.
