ARSIEM is looking for an Information Systems Security Officer. This position will support one of our government clients in Ft. Meade, MD.
Responsibilities
- The successful candidate will develop software products to discover new data related to the mission.
- The candidate will also manage the existing products, making enhancements or repairs as needed.
- These software products will be used to support missions throughout the world covering a variety of subjects.
- You will be working in a highly collaborative, integrated environment.
- This position works with other similar roles in a team of less than 10 people.
- The candidate will own their products, and will work with the team on other products and DevOps environment.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree plus 8 years of relevant experience or Master's degree plus 6 years of relevant experience.
- An Associate's degree plus 10 years of relevant experience or high school diploma/GED plus 12 years of relevant experience may be considered for individuals with in-depth experience that is clearly related to the position
- Computer Science (CS) degree or related field
- TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
- Python experience, specifically version 3
- Docker and DevOps technologies.
- Experience developing software in a Linux environment.
- Working in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience as an ISSO/ISSE with emphasis on Defense-in-Depth principles, network, and enterprise security architecture
- Experience applying the principles of the NIST 800-53, including the procedures in the Risk Management Framework (RMF)
- Familiarity with STE/STN requirements
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
