ARSIEM is looking for an Information Systems Security Officer. This position will support one of our government clients in Ft. Meade, MD.
 
 

Responsibilities

• The successful candidate will develop software products to discover new data related to the mission.  
• The candidate will also manage the existing products, making enhancements or repairs as needed.  
• These software products will be used to support missions throughout the world covering a variety of subjects. 
• You will be working in a highly collaborative, integrated environment.  
• This position works with other similar roles in a team of less than 10 people.  
• The candidate will own their products, and will work with the team on other products and DevOps environment.  
• You will be working in a highly collaborative, integrated environment.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 8 years of relevant experience or Master's degree plus 6 years of relevant experience.  
• An Associate's degree plus 10 years of relevant experience or high school diploma/GED plus 12 years of relevant experience may be considered for individuals with in-depth experience that is clearly related to the position
• Computer Science (CS) degree or related field
• TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
• Python experience, specifically version 3
• Docker and DevOps technologies.
• Experience developing software in a Linux environment.
• Working in a team environment​

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience as an ISSO/ISSE with emphasis on Defense-in-Depth principles, network, and enterprise security architecture
• Experience applying the principles of the NIST 800-53, including the procedures in the Risk Management Framework (RMF)
• Familiarity with STE/STN requirements
• Excellent written and oral communication skills ​

Clearance Requirement: This position requires an active TS/SCI with a polygraph. You must be a US Citizen for consideration. Candidate Referral: Do you know someone who would be GREAT at this role? The bonus for this position is $10,000, and the referrer is eligible to receive the sum for any applicant we can place within 12 months of referral.
