About the role

Job Details

The Lead Medical Assistant serves as a resource to other Medical Assistants within their office by mentoring, training and leading day to day operations. In addition to other Lead duties, they will perform standard MA functions such as assisting patients and assisting providers with various obstetrical and gynecological procedures such as but not limited to hysteroscopy, colposcopy and biopsies. Will work in concert with all clinical leadership in an effort to provide both the ultimate patient and provider experience.

Job Description

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Familiarity with medical office procedures.

Education & Experience:

  • HS Diploma or equivalent required. Medical Assistant certification required. Minimum of 2 years Medical Assistant experience.
  • For NJ only: Graduate of an accredited post-secondary medical assisting education program which includes, at a minimum, 600 hours of instruction and encompasses training in the administration of intramuscular and subcutaneous injections.
