Description

Key Responsibilities:

•  Answer incoming calls from patients and healthcare providers

•  Process prescription refills and medication requests

•  Assist with prior authorization paperwork and insurance coordination

•  Communicate with providers and pharmacy staff to clarify or verify prescriptions

•  Maintain accurate documentation in patient records and pharmacy systems

•  Support medication adherence outreach and patient follow-up

•  Perform other administrative tasks to support the pharmacy team

Qualifications

Qualifications:

•  High school diploma or equivalent

•  Active Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) preferred

•  Previous experience in a pharmacy setting required (clinic or specialty preferred)

•  Strong verbal communication and phone etiquette skills

•  Comfort with computer systems, EMRs, and pharmacy software

•  Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently in a team environment

•  Must be willing to travel to Dallas pharmacy for several months as the new facility in Trophy Club becomes fully functional.
