Assistant Manager, Golf Operations ($57,700.00-$73,800.00)

Position Summary:

The primary purpose of the Golf Operations Assistant Manager, is to oversee the day-to-day operations of the Cart Attendants, Conditions of Golf Carts, Cart Barn, Golf Cart Staging and Practice Facility services.

Job Duties:

• Assist Golf Director of Golf Operations with the interviewing, hiring, and training prospective Cart Attendants.
• Enforce company policies, rules and regulations.
• Supervise and schedule Cart Attendant personnel. Plan, prioritize and allocate work assignments to meet daily operational requirements.
• Maintain club standards and practices to establish consistent guest service levels.
• Prepare and stage golf carts for daily play in accordance with established policies & procedures. Rotate golf cart usage on a daily basis.
• Daily setup and oversight of the Practice Facility to our standards. Ensure a constant supply of practice balls along with keeping the Guest Amenity Station fully stocked with all guest supplies.
• Clean and detail golf carts before and after rounds in accordance with PHGC standards and practices.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the cart barn along with keeping all required supplies at par-levels.
• Perform daily golf cart counts to ensure all vehicles are accounted for and secured before closing. Check all charger connections to ensure that golf carts are plugged in and charging properly.
• Mark damaged equipment for repair and set aside in designated areas.
• Maintain the grandeur of the exterior of clubhouse areas by checking and emptying trash receptacles along with picking up trash/debris and wiping down all signs.
• Assist other staff/departments in prepping for, setting up, and breaking down golf group events.
• Be attentive to company grooming standards and appearance of issued uniforms.
• Implement appropriate disciplinary procedures as necessary in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Perform additional duties as requested by your manager.

Minimum Qualifications / Other Expectations:

• Previous golf experience preferable in a supervisory capacity.
• Willingness to work indoors or outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
• Able to lift 50 pounds, stand up for long periods of time, and engage in physical activities.
• Must have good written & verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrate initiative, personal awareness, professionalism, positive attitude, and integrity.
• Exercise a high quality of customer service and leadership skills.
• Ability to effectively interact with guests and staff in a professional manner.

 Compensation:

Base Pay Range: $57,700.00 - $73,800.00

 

Actual placement within this range may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
