Senior Manager, FP&A - Medicare

Position Summary

As an FP&A Senior Manager, you will be responsible for financial forecasting and analysis within the Medicare Advantage segment. This role will require strong time management, organization, and communication skills along with strong attention to details and the ability to work in a dynamic environment. This position allows you to work cross-functionally with actuarial, underwriting, accounting, finance, sales, and performance management teams to collaborate on building and maintaining forecast models, assumptions, and to understand the business. You will have visibility into membership, revenue, and medical cost forecasting, allowing for Gross Profit P&L ownership.

Activities that this role will oversee include:

• Building and maintaining forecast and budget models for membership and gross profit

• Developing and communicating financial projection assumptions

• Creating effective reporting to support leadership reviews during quarterly projection cycles

• Monitoring Medicare products’ risks and opportunities

• Analyzing drivers of variances to forecasts and budgets

• Enhancing processes to incorporate additional financial detail in order to better support the Medicare business

• Managing team members to help develop and grow their careers

Required Qualifications

• 7 or more years of financial planning & analysis experience with deep understanding of financial management

• 1 year of people leadership experience

Preferred Qualifications

• 5 or more years of relevant financial experience
