Purpose of the Job
Lead the advancement of measurement and activation methodologies for media and marketing, with a focus on hands-on technical execution, statistical rigor, and innovation. Drive the design and implementation of ROI analysis, experimentation, and clean room solutions to enable robust measurement and audience activation. Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary technical expert for advanced analytics, leading the development and application of new methodologies for ROI measurement, experimentation, and audience activation.
Design and execute statistically rigorous experiments (e.g., A/B tests, multi-cell tests) to evaluate media and marketing effectiveness.
Lead the use of clean rooms and privacy-safe environments (e.g., AMC, LiveRamp, Scintilla) for data integration, measurement, and activation.
Advance the organization’s capabilities in causal inference, incrementality measurement, and advanced statistical modeling.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (media, data engineering, marketing, external partners) to ensure analytics solutions are actionable and aligned with business objectives.
Translate complex analytics into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders.
Mentor and develop junior analytics talent, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
Works with Data Engineering (for model deployment and data integration) and Performance Analytics (for applying methodologies and interpreting results). Does not own dashboard curation or routine reporting.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field.
6+ years of experience in advanced analytics, data science, or a related field.
Deep hands-on expertise in statistical modeling, experimental design, and causal inference.
Proficiency with Python, R, or similar analytics programming languages.
Experience with clean room environments and privacy-safe data integration for measurement and activation.
Demonstrated ability to design and execute robust ROI analyses and experiments.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate technical findings for non-technical audiences.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with media and marketing analytics in a consumer goods or digital environment.
Familiarity with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and advanced analytics tools.
Experience with audience segmentation and activation in privacy-safe environments.
Master’s or PhD in a quantitative discipline.
Experience mentoring or leading analytics teams.
Pay: The pay range for this position is $119,400 to $179,000. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.
Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.
