<p><strong>Anti-Financial Crimes Risk and Compliance FIU Senior Analyst</strong></p> <p> </p> <p>We are looking for an <strong>Anti-Financial Crimes Risk and Compliance FIU Senior Analyst </strong>to join our expanding team. In this role you will partner with our Business Development, Product Management, and Legal teams as well as our bank partners to conceive and execute a strategy that ensures compliance. You will  join a rapidly growing team looking to build a strong and dynamic anti-money laundering, sanctions, fraud, and anti-bribery program. You will be responsible for AML transaction monitoring, investigations, and reporting and process improvements. </p> <p>This role can be performed in a hybrid work model (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday onsite) from our Warsaw office.  We’d love for you to join us!</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></p> <ul> <li>Gather and analyze transactional data and documentation according to the requirements</li> <li>Submit unusual activity reports in accordance with bank sponsor requirements across US, Canada, UK, EU, Australia, Brazil, and any other jurisdictions</li> <li>Support the management with fulfilling independent AML audit data and testing requests related to transaction monitoring, investigations, and decision-making</li> <li>Liaise with Marqeta’s Risk Product team in relation to the company’s transaction monitoring and case management system</li> <li>Identify areas of improvement/changes and be a champion for continuous improvements</li> <li>Develop and maintain process documentation and training materials</li> <li>Assist in the development of AML compliance training for Marqeta and our customers, as required.</li> </ul> <p><strong>What We’re Looking For</strong></p> <ul> <li>Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience, preferably within the banking or payments industry, in AML transaction monitoring and investigations</li> <li>Knowledge of the current and emerging payment systems and banking regulation/supervision within the US, Canada, UK and/or Europe</li> <li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills</li> <li>Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and deliver in a fast-paced and dynamic environment</li> <li>Ability to work across various jurisdictions and liaise with counterparts in the US and Asia as well as Europe</li> <li>Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment</li> <li>Excellent written and oral communication skills</li> </ul> <p><strong>Nice-To-Haves</strong></p> <ul> <li>An advanced degree and CAMS-certification</li> <li>Experience with model validation and systems testing</li> </ul> <p><strong>Your Manager</strong></p> <ul> <li>Joanna Inorowicz, Anti-Financial Crimes Risk and Compliance FIU Director</li> </ul> <p><strong>Recruiter For This Role</strong></p> <ul> <li>Agata Wojciechowska </li> </ul> <p><strong>Typical Process</strong></p> <ul> <li>Application submission</li> <li>Recruiter phone call</li> <li>Hiring manager video call</li> <li>Virtual “Onsite” consisting of 3-4 45min calls</li> <li>Offer!</li> </ul> <p> </p><h4><strong>About Marqeta</strong></h4> <p>Marqeta is on a mission to change the way money moves.
