White Oak Medical Center seeks to hire an experienced Electrician who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing

As an Electrician, you will:
• Maintain and install electrical power, communications, controls, and lighting systems for the various entities.
• Follow all National, State and Local Electrical Codes.
• Work with inspectors from County and State agencies, local Fire Departments, and other relevant agencies, as needed.
• Perform assigned work order service requests and preventive maintenance on equipment, machinery, and buildings with required documentation of maintenance activity within the CMMS
• Maintain and install wiring, control, and lighting systems
• Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand tools and power • • tools, as needed
• Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand tools and power tools
• Install electrical apparatus, fixtures, and equipment for alarms and other systems
• Read blueprints, technical diagrams, and identifies electrical problems with a variety of testing devices
• Work with outside vendors and the AHJ, etc., on all electrical related activities
• Other Duties as assigned
• Must be able to interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams

Qualifications Include:
• High School Diploma or GED required
• 3-5 years commercial or hospital electrical experience
• MD, VA or DC Journeyman Electrical Licensure required (Master Preferred)
• Valid Driver’s license

Work Schedule:

Day Shift 6:30am - 3:00pm

Weekends as Needed

Pay Range:

$29.08 - $42.17

If the salary range is listed as $0 or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process.

Under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), this position is classified as:
