Summary
The Senior Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Analyst reports to the Manager of EDI. They are responsible for configuring and maintaining the technical documents used in the EDI process and providing training on this functionality to junior team members. The Senior EDI Analyst is responsible for the EDI connection throughout the entire connection lifecycle. This lifecycle includes: initial implementation, renewal changes, general support/updates and termination of feed. The Senior EDI Analyst will also assist junior team members on HRIS updates and feed documentation/requirements as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop file feed based on carrier documentation using proprietary ETL software.
- Analyze carrier documentation to ensure requirements can be met based on ETL platform and HRIS standards.
- Pursue outstanding action items with carrier contact and escalate to project manager as needed.
- Maintain SLA on service case documentation during initial configuration and subsequent updates.
- Provide tier 2 support for the Benefit Administration account team using Salesforce ticketing system.
- Assist EDI Analysts on unclear or difficult project requirements as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities
- Experience with EDI file feeds and HRIS systems.
- Strong organizational, time management and customer service skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Ability to understand and communicate difficult requirements to non-technical business contacts.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office components to include, but not limited to: Excel, Outlook and Word.
- Ability to document requirements and a clear, concise manner.
- Ability to work with minimal direction.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to communicate effectively (written/oral).
- May be required to work overtime as necessary.
Education and/or Experience
- College degree

The base salary range for this position is $77,000 – $90,000. The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
