Member Services Associate - PT!

Join our team!  The Duke Center for Living (DCFL) is a medically based wellness facility set within the upscale retirement community of Galloway Ridge - located between Chapel Hill and Pittsboro, NC.  The Member Services Associate, assists and supports the daily operations of the Member Services front desk, plays an important role in providing excellent service to members, residents and guests (appointment scheduling, payment and merchandise sales, general inquires, initiates and completes membership sales), and supports the work of the Member Services Manager Also assists with emergency services as needed. 

This position is scheduled to hit 10 hours/week. The Member Service Associate will open Wednesday and Thursday 5:45 am - 10:45 am. They will also be apart of the weekend rotation, working about once a month on the weekends. They will also be asked to fill in gaps on the schedule.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Greeting members and addressing member inquiries both in person and via telephone.
• Scheduling appointments and enrolling participants in programs.
• Touring prospective members; processing new and renewal contracts
• Processing point of sale transactions and balancing cash drawer each shift
• Assisting with marketing efforts and member retention.
• Attend department related meetings.
• All other duties assigned include, but not limited to, enhancing the Resident and Member Experience.

Requirements

• High School diploma
• Two years customer service experience
• CPR/AED certified within three months of hire.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; computer skills; cash handling skills; ability to perform multiple tasks at same time.
