Technician, Process - Roll Forming

•    Document Daily Line Activities (setups, changeovers, downtime, scrap, training activities, deviations from standard operating procedures, etc.)
•    Ensure individual machine settings are accurately documented and being utilized on every set-up.
•    Modify set-ups, as needed, and ensure documentation is updated accordingly. 
•    Audit line techs to ensure SOP’s are being followed.
•    Aid in the creation of new SOP’s, troubleshooting guides, set-up sheets, and other tools to standardize operations on the plant floor.
•    Work closely with Process Engineering Manager, Line Supervisor, Manufacturing Engineering, OPEX, Quality and Maintenance teams on improvement projects within your area(s) of focus.
 

•    Mastery of all roll form tech responsibilities
•    High School Diploma
•    5+ years’ experience as a roll form technician
•    Mechanically inclined, with experience in steel processing, roll forming, stamping, welding, machine operations, etc.
•    Willingness to learn about and implement OPEX, SMED, 5S, data collection methods, etc.
•    Ability to work well with others
•    Strong Attention to Detail
