Client Experience Delivery, client-facing teams orchestrating all aspects of service delivery, and onboarding teams bringing new business onto our platform, Wealth, differentiated capability for both Whole Portfolio and Wealth clients & products, respectively, Client Experience Operations, core client operations teams driving reporting, billing, and onboarding due diligence across the globe, and Client Experience Transformation, accelerating progress towards our CX mission via research and competitive insights, analytics, marketing, business and change management.

Team Overview

The Custom Model Solutions Servicing Team is a pillar within BlackRock’s Client Experience division and is responsible for delivering a dedicated servicing experience to BlackRock’s model clients. The team’s role within the Client Experience division is to drive the delivery of superior client experience for our clients, whilst ensuring we help build scale and evolve BlackRock’s overall client servicing capabilities. The team is now looking for an additional team member based in New York to join our servicing team supporting Custom Model Solution clients.

Role Overview

This role combines elements of data strategy management and client business support. It emphasizes the importance of data integrity, team collaboration, and effective communication between technical and business units. The role requires a candidate who is adept at managing complex data systems and can navigate the challenges of incident management and client relations. The ideal candidate would be able to look at inefficiencies in the current process and propose streamlining solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with different teams to resolve data-related issues, ensuring that data integrity and accuracy are maintained across all platforms

  • Act as a liaison between the technology and client business teams to facilitate effective communication and problem-solving strategies

  • Provide support for trade rebalance processes and manage incident reviews to minimize business impact and maintain client trust

  • Engage in cross-team collaboration to address and resolve complex data issues, contributing to the overall success of the organization's data management and client services

Qualifications:

  • 3-7 years of relevant work experience

  • Proven experience in data management and visualization, with a strong understanding of data refresh processes and dashboard management

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to coordinate with multiple teams to address data-related challenges

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to act as a bridge between technical and business teams

  • Experience in managing incident reviews and providing solutions to prevent future occurrences

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Process automation, preferably intermediate level Python, SQL and Unix experience is preferred

  • Data Visualization competency (Tableau, PowerBI)

  • Knowledge of financial services and client business operations


 

For New York City only: The salary range for this position is $95,000 - $125,000. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including heath care, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.
