As our

Senior Specification Manager - Baby Food

you will lead the Specification Management function for the R&D hub in Spain, ensuring the efficient creation, harmonization, and maintenance of product and raw material specifications across the Hero Group. You will drive collaboration across functions, ensure compliance with food regulations (especially Baby Food), and lead a skilled team of specification experts. 

 

This is what you can expect

• Lead and develop the Specification Management team in Spain, setting clear goals and fostering growth
• Oversee all specification processes for the category Baby Toddler Food and related categories
• Ensure specifications meet quality, regulatory, and sustainability standards
• Manage specification data, documentation, and digital tools 
• Support artwork, labeling, and claims in collaboration with marketing and regulatory teams
• Partner closely with Quality, R&D, Supply Chain and Marketing
• Contribute to global alignment of specification systems and processes
• Support innovation and renovation projects with complete and compliant specifications
• Manage the Specification Management budget and optimize resources

 

This is what you need to be successful in this role

• Deep knowledge of European food regulations, ideally in Baby Food
• Strong leadership and people development skills
• Excellent project management, planning, and prioritization abilities
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and process optimization
• Effective cross-functional collaboration and communication skills
• Comfort working in fast-paced, international environments
• Fluent in English and Spanish
