The Inventory & Purchasing Processor coordinates and performs functions related to the acquisition, tracking, storage and handling of tools, equipment and materials for the Enterprise Physical Operations - Danforth department, including the processing of service contracts and the monitoring of financial accounts within the department.Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Performs all duties associated with the procurement of parts and materials, including tracking, storage, delivery, pickup and physical receiving.
- Creates and approves transactions in the financial system including purchase orders, change orders, blanket orders, check requests, budget adjustments, ID’s and journals.
- Communicates and coordinates with customers, project stakeholders and departments and relays/resolves issues as they arise.
- Monitors the account balances for funds and communicates account balances with managers as needed.
- Serves as department liaison regarding procurement processes and policies.
- Conducts inventory spot checks and tool inventories.
- Performs other duties as assigned

- Experience processing financial transactions in a fund accounting in a professional environment is preferred.
- Ability to anticipate issues
- Knowledgeable of project processes such as creating charters, project scope and objectives and overall project delivery process.
- Knowledgeable in creating and facilitating user training for University systems.
