What does it mean to be an Administrative Coordinator I at GLS?
As an Administrative Coordinator I, you will perform administrative functions related to the remarketing process, including process approvals, invoicing, and other financial tasks as needed.
How will you drive value within the organization as an Administrative Coordinator I?
- Maintain relationships with repossession companies and vendors
- Assign accounts for repossession with repossession agents in a timely manner
- Work with repossession agents to coordinate the pick-up of vehicles that are identified for repossession
- Perform administrative functions to validate or confirm customer data; update accounts as needed
- Work with vendors to implement programs that provide alternative contact methods for customer communications
What should you already know to be successful as an Administrative Coordinator I?
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of one-year experience in a relevant customer service role preferred
- Experience in automotive field and/or familiarity with the repossession process, account handling, and vendor communication highly desired
- Solid oral and written communication skills
- Team player that can adapt in a fast pace and changing environment
- Strong computer skills with working knowledge of internet and standard business applications such as Microsoft Office; ability to quickly learn new computer applications as required
- Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail and demonstrated ability to effectively set and manage multiple conflicting priorities to meet deadlines
Employment Requirements
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
- Must be flexible to work within departmental operating days and times which include Monday through Friday, 8:00am-6:00pm
- Have close visual acuity to perform activities such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading
- Talk and hear to exchange accurate information
- The position does not require travel
