Responsibilities:

Monitor and make recommendations on process changes required; including implementing changes as instructed/agreed upon and Insure that product quality is maintained by sampling, monitoring results, and taking corrective action as required.

Performs the SPI process setup for the production line as well as any Winder adjustments for required slits.

Coordinate and Lead the cleaning activities on the production line.

Ensures that all the cores tubes have been cut and are staged for the shift’s production needs.

Provides oversight, guidance and/or general direction and training to Production Operators on Production line activities

Qualifications:

Minimum - High School Diploma or GED with 3-5 years manufacturing experience, including 1 year of lead experience.

Preferred - A.S. in a Technical Discipline or related field with 1-2 years manufacturing experience, including 1 year of lead experience.

Requires the use of judgment to identify various levels of product quality, to operate equipment, to detect processing defects, to clean and change spinning packs and other related functions within the limitations of recognized standards and procedures.
