Come join our dedicated and caring team of professionals as a Medical Assistant II. With guidance and direction from our staff R.N. and L.V.N., the Medical Assistant will:
- Assist clinical staff at our primary care clinic in the delivery of health care to our clinic population.
- Interview patients, take vital signs, room patients for providers, and record services in patients' charts.
- Assist with procedures and screening tests, such as tympanometry, audiometry, UA, and pregnancy tests.
- Maintain stocks of clinical supplies.
- Assist in autoclaving, and with volunteer orientation.
- Provide pregnancy counseling and administer nebulizer treatments.
- Translate Spanish/English for providers as needed.
- Float to our other locations within LA County as needed for coverage.
Salary range: $23.78 - $31.42 Hourly
Effective 06/22/2025, employees represented by the AFSCME Union will receive a minimum wage of $25 hourly.
Job Qualifications

Required:- Documented evidence of completed Medical Assisting training (Medical Assistant Certification) and CPR certification.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and knowledge of general medical and laboratory procedures.
- Ability to take vital signs (weight, height, blood pressure and pulse), and perform tympanometry and audiometry.
