About the role
Purpose of Position
The Supervisor, Quality Control Parts Specialist (QCPS) is responsible to ensure that the record keeping and reporting requirements of 14 CFR 135.427 and 135.439 are met or exceeded. Manages the day-to-day operation of the s and QCPS team. Utilizes and administers company philosophy, policies, and procedures to provide professional, safe, and regulatory compliant service.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Works with the Manager of Quality Control and QCPS team members to optimize staff coverage. Coordinates Holiday peak period shift coverage and workloads. Responsible for ensuring the timely submission of payroll and vacation request.
- Responsible for maintenance work records for all off aircraft engine maintenance. Ensure that maintenance records/log entries meet 14 CFR 135/91K and General Maintenance Manual requirements. Ensure that inspections, ADs, SBs, and time-tracked parts are accurately entered into the electronic maintenance tracking system and the system is tracking items correctly.
- Responsible for coordinating the QCPS team to audit all SER and TRK part transactions for correctness and regulatory compliance.
- Responsible for creating, tracking and maintaining department metrics
- Design and implement training based on department metrics
- Responsible for Performance Evaluations within the department and aids employees with career development

- Knowledgeable in the regulatory requirement of the maintenance programs CIP, AAIP, EPMP and other inspection programs.
- Experienced in monitoring NetJets computer programs Maintenix, Mx Net, and OnBase to ensure that the aircraft records are being retained in accordance with the criteria.
- Experience with 14 CFR Part 135 documentation requirements.
- Experience with aircraft maintenance tracking system software for a large, diverse aircraft fleet.
- Experience in a supervisor capacity
