Your responsibilities

  • Leading and developing an 8-member General Accounting team, promoting a collaborative and high-performing work environment
  • Demonstrating understanding of general accounting processes and effectively aligning them with business needs
  • Reviewing Profit & Loss statements and ensuring accurate and timely posting of accruals
  • Overseeing fixed asset processes, payroll reconciliations, and statistical reporting
  • Ensuring full compliance with internal policies and procedures as well as external and internal audit requirements
  • Driving timely and accurate Month-End Close activities
  • Contributing to various ad hoc financial projects and supporting implementation of new tools, systems, and continuous process improvements
  • Performing quality control checks to maintain consistent work quality and meeting green-level KPI standards

Your qualifications

  • Experience gained in general accounting and team management (2–3 years)
  • Solid understanding of P&L review, accruals, and reconciliation processes
  • Familiarity with fixed assets, payroll accounting, and regulatory/statistical reporting
  • High analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and implement process improvements
  • Fluency in English with great communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (knowledge of SAP will be an asset)
