2nd Shift Melter

SUMMARY:      Melt Operators are responsible for melting operations within the organization.  Job functions include, but are not limited to, melting aluminum to appropriate specifications as determined by the work instructions. The Melter is responsible and accountable for supplying metal in spec, on time, and at the proper temperature. They will work hand in hand with the Molder to produce good quality castings.  They are expected to work in a safe manner and wear all required PPE.  They will operate by building relationships with all other departments and within their department to build trust throughout.
