Staff Accountant

Analyze financial information and prepare financial reports to determine or maintain a record of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, or other financial activities within the organization.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
• Maintain daily/monthly high-volume cash reconciliations for 60+ cash accounts
• Ability to recognize and investigate discrepancies daily
• Perform monthly fixed asset/capital accounting including depreciation expense
• Perform expense analysis to budget ensuring accurate monthly activity
• Calculate and post monthly journal entries
• Reconcile various general ledger accounts as part of the monthly close process

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required
• 3-5 years of experience in accounting and financial reporting
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent judgment and utmost integrity
• Must be a proactive professional, able to prioritize, multi-task and manage time efficiently
• Ability to achieve results both independently and through others by fostering a spirit of teamwork and cooperation
• Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment with ever-changing deadlines & priorities
• Ability to always maintain a professional demeanor and utmost confidentiality
• Must exhibit proficient computer skills utilizing the Microsoft Office Suite software and working experience with Microsoft Dynamics D365 software
• International and multi-currency experience is a plus

Compensation Range: $70,000
